Content License Agreement — TraitScale
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Overview
All content, assessments, tools, data, text, images, media, AI outputs, algorithms, and resources published at https://traitscale.com (collectively “Content”) are the exclusive intellectual property of TraitScale and its licensors. This License governs permitted uses of that Content by humans, automated systems, and AI agents, including crawlers and machine learning systems.
2. License Grant
Except as expressly restricted below, TraitScale grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
Access and read the Content for personal, educational, or research purposes.
Use the interactive assessments and tools directly through the website interface.
Display and share AI-generated assessment results you personally obtain.
This License does not grant the right to copy, reproduce, distribute, redistribute, or use Content beyond what is expressly stated.
3. AI / Machine Learning Usage Policy
By accessing Content, you agree to the following terms regarding automated systems (LLMs, bots, crawlers, crawlers producing training corpora, large-scale scrapers, or other AI systems):
a. Training Prohibition
No part of the Content — including site text, assessment logic, results, explanations, descriptions, or any derivative output — may be used to train large language models, foundation models, neural networks, embedding models, or similar machine-learning systems that are intended for public, commercial, or internal use, whether directly or indirectly. Retraining, fine-tuning, embedding, weighting, indexing, or other derivative model creation using the Content is strictly prohibited.
b. Inference and Retrieval
Systems may access and process Content only in real-time as part of user-initiated inference requests — that is, when a human user directly requests an answer that includes information from the Content. Persistent storage of processed Content for training or long-term indexing is forbidden.
c. Attribution Requirement
Any generated output that includes Content (in full or in part) presented to end-users or stakeholders must include a clear, machine-readable attribution pointing to the original source — e.g.: Source: TraitScale
4. Restrictions
Except as permitted above, you may NOT:
Copy, mirror, cache, archive, or permanently store Content for reuse.
Extract structured datasets for analytics, indexing, or model fine-tuning.
Redistribute, broadcast, resell, sublicense, or repurpose Content in whole or part.
Use Content to build a competing platform, derivative service, or automated API without express written permission.
5. User Data and Privacy
Your use of the Content is also governed by the TraitScale Privacy Policy. Personal responses, assessment results, or user-submitted data remain private and must not be mined, stored, or shared by automated systems without explicit consent from the user and TraitScale.
6. Disclaimers & Liability
Content is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. TraitScale makes no guarantees about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or suitability for AI modeling or predictions outside the intended use (personal assessment and insight).
TraitScale is not responsible for any damages arising from misuse of Content, including automated scraping or machine learning attempts that violate this License.
7. Enforcement and Termination
Violation of this License may result in:
Immediate revocation of access to the website and related services
Legal action
Injunctive relief, including takedown demands to third parties
